Walker is New EMS Education Coordinator
Laura L. Walker, MS, EMT-P is the Tidewater EMS Council's Regional EMS Education Coordinator effective June 2, 2003. She is currently a TEMS board member representing Portsmouth, chair of the council's Patient Care Committee, a nationally registered paramedic, and a trainer in a wide range of educational programs. She holds a Master's Degree in Education and is pursuing a Doctorate. She is formerly an adjunct faculty at Tidewater Community College and a transport paramedic with CHKD. She will be leaving her current position with the Portsmouth Fire Department to join the council staff. Please join us in welcoming Laura in her new role. Her email address is walker@vaems.org.
