Nolen Named TEMS Field Coordinator

Todd Nolen, REMT-P is the new TEMS Regional Field Coordinator, part-time, effective April 30, 2001. Todd is a medic with the Chesapeake Fire Department where he is an active coordinator of the department's EMS quality assurance program and co-chair of the Medical Review Committee. He is a current EMT and CPR Instructor, former BTLS Coordinator and former tactical medic with the Chesapeake Police Department. Todd has also earned an Associates of Science degree in Emergency Medical Services from Tidewater Community College.
As Regional Field Coordinator working about 80 hours a month, Todd will oversee the IV/Drug box exchange system, provide staff support to the Resources Committee, manage the council's responsibilities related to review and grading of state EMS grant requests, assist in mass casualty planning and drills, and oversee protocol updates and distribution.
