9-11 Relief Fund                     How Can I Help?  

Firehouse.com, Firehouse Magazine & Firehouse Expos announced a partnership with the International Association of Firefighters in a major fundraising effort to support the many children, spouses and family members left behind by the firefighters and emergency medical personnel who perished in the World Trade Center tragedy.

This new fund, announced by the IAFF in New York, is called the "The New York Fire 9-11 Relief Fund".

"I can say that right now the missing firefighter and fire officers are exceeding previous media estimates," Harold Schaitberger, IAFF General President, told Firehouse.com shortly after meeting with local union representatives. "But IAFF officials and families are holding out hope that survivors will still be found ... All efforts are aimed at survivors at this point."

The IAFF will administer the non-profit fund, working with Locals 94 and 854 in New York. Further information will be posted as soon as its released.

Please, do not send cash

100% of the money donated will go to the families of the fallen Fire and EMS personnel in New York.

We will announce new information and additional means to make donations, including Web-nased, as soon as details are available.

All monies sent in the name of the original fund Firehouse.com was establishing, "The New York Bravest Memorial Fund" will now become part of the The New York Fire 9-11 Relief Fund.
