DePaul Medical Center announced that beginning May 19, 2000 it will be reducing the hours of operation for the pharmacy. The pharmacy has been open 24 hours in the past. The new hours for the pharmacy will be from 7 am - 11 pm.
Along with this change comes some new arrangements in providing IV and drug box exchange in the emergency department. The EMS equipment room will become the location for this exchange. The room will have a combination lock installed, which the charge nurse will hold the combination for.
