Changes to the Virginia Durable Do Not Resuscitate Program
The requirement for physicians to record an Order Number on the Durable Do Not Resuscitate (DDNR) Order form when completing a DDNR for their patients has been eliminated. New forms have been printed that do not require this number. Patients and health care agencies should continue using the forms they have and just draw a line through the number space.
